The UnitedHealthcare Vision program is like a PPO plan for vision care – it offers employees lots of flexibility at an affordable cost. Members have the option of seeking care from an in-network provider for a nominal co-pay fee. They may also seek care from a provider that does not participate in the UnitedHealthcare network, in which case their out-of-pocket costs will be higher.

UnitedHealthcare's vision care provider network has over 7,700 private practice ophthalmologists, optometrists, and retail chain locations with flexible hours of operation.

Note to Participating Members: All AMHIC groups do not offer all AMHIC plans. Please check with your human resources department to confirm which AMHIC plans are offered by your employer.
